Diamond Stone?  Oh yeah.  Dude is good.

Riley LaChance?  No thanks.

He dragged his pivot foot before he drove to the basket, took two steps after the dribble, and committed an offensive foul, and no calls.  The referees must be from the Big East.

Saw more made three's in the OU-Baylor game than watching MU in a season.

I would take LaChance every day of the week and twice today.

no, the ref is a relative of nerd.

You watch him play?  He's pretty slight and is very much inconsistent.  Duane is a better shooter this year.

He'd be a redundancy we don't need.

I've watched him play a ton over his high school and college career, although not much this year (I've found myself watching a lot less college games and a lot more NBA games with the new emphases in the college game).  I know he hasn't been quite as good as he was last year, but he's exactly what this team hasn't had for years.  A guy who can shoot, score, and play the 1.  He shoots it better than Duane (40% from 3 compared to Duane's 33%) and while he typically plays off the ball, he has a much better skill set to play the 1 than Duane or Cheatham do.

I'm good with Rowsey and Hauser next year.

I'd be good with a starting backcourt of LaChance, Rowsey, and Cheatham.

Iowa is really really really good.  Another argument for the experience column.  Three seniors, a junior.  Solid team.

That meltdown against ISU could come back to haunt them on selection Sunday.

In what way?  I doubt a loss on the road to another ranked team is going to have much impact on their seeding.

Also, in watching a bunch of  BE, B10, and B12 games, the need for size and toughness for MU might need to be the number one priority.

Playing for a 1 seed it would be a nice notch in the belt.

I'm looking forward to see if Indiana's shooting and quickness can put a dent in Iowa, but I don't think they will.  Iowa just appears to be the class of the league this year.
