For anyone interested in this there is extensive discussion in the midseason transfer thread.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

So...now DePaul has a Grandstaff. Austin just committed to DePaul and Dave Leitao. Will have to sit out a season, then have...honestly I have no idea how much time he'll have left. What is this, 3 or 4 schools for him now?

Only 1 year off his clock, so still 3 to play (after one year sitting out) if he stays at DePaul.

I'd guess he'll enter the NBA draft a few times, but then pull out.

As much as we have loved to poke fun at Grandstaff, I feel like he will be a very good player for Depaul....and very easy to hate.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

If he's still there in January

Thank God, he's finally landed at a Big East school.  That should end any future discussion of him transferring here.

Plus we can recycle all of our old "Grandstaff" jokes for the "DePaul is evil and must be destroyed" thread.
Have some patience, FFS.

More stiff competition in the Big East.

Let's face it: The Big East is all about the hardwood.

How did lessthannick11 miss this thread when complaining about inside jokes?

How much more inside can you get?

I'm with you TAMU, there were some funny ones but this one got me. Something about blunt humor.

He is looking for a place that will respect his dribble drive.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."
