I said Georgetown. Despite the arrogance, they seem to always have a player I really like to watch, I like the uni's, I like their ties to the original BE, I like their animosity toward Cuse (enemy of my enemy, hey?), and I like their fat little bulldog.

TAMU

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

The Equalizer

Hate 'em all.

They should all be considered rivals and should all be treated as equals to Notre Dame and Wisconsin.

LloydsLegs

Nova.  Ms. Legs is a freshman.  Looking forward to seeing the MU game at the Pavilion next month.

Eldon

Definitely Gtown.  They have the most brand equity, the BE's flagship program if I could choose only one.

chapman

Nova due to grad school connection.  Also made the hated list for the tournament chokes making the conference look bad.

CTWarrior

Don't particularly like or hate any of the other Big East teams.  I root for all of them out of conference.  Within the conference, I root for whichever team whose victory helps MU the most.  Never thought much about it until this thread, but the Big East teams I most wanted to beat (Cincy, ND, Louisville and UConn because I live here) are the ones that left.

Once we are regulars back at the top of the conference, I'm sure I'll develop animosity toward the other regular top teams.
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

Ms. Legs, eh?

GooooMarquette

Don't know about "like," but I have always had a very healthy respect for Villanova and Georgetown.  Just wish they - especially Nova - could play as well in March as they do in December and January.

Buzz Williams' Spillproof Chiclets Cup

I can't think of anything bad to say about Creighton. Always admired their program when they were in the MVC and they provided some punch in the early, "Bambi on the ice" incarnation of the new Big East.

X.  In some ways they seem to be most like Marquette (I don't know what it is, just a feeling).  And I have known many people from there, and they all seem like very Marquette people.
I'm like a turtle, sometimes I get run over by a semi.

Reminder:

Funny you bring this up... it was my interactions with Butler fans in Maui that put them to the top of the list.  Though this was pre-C7, we all had a sneaking suspicion that Butler was going to end up in the Big East at some point, so maybe they were just sucking up.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

MUfan12

Butler fans are great, home and away. Hinkle was fun to visit. They'd be right behind Nova for me.

Went to Hinkle in Buzz's last year. We lost in overtime. Fans were extremely gracious all game.

Xavier for me as well. I always loved cheering for them come tourney time. Well, at least until JFB put Tu Holloway in his back pocket.

Galway Eagle

X I've always respected that program and and it was my backup school.  Plus I think they're the best addition to the BE.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Sorry--they all fall below the hate meter as compared to No Dick and Wiscy. Still sad that we do not have the arrogant golden domers on our schedule.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

WarriorInNYC

Voted Butler mainly because I have tremendous respect for their program, and we've had quite a fair share of close games over the last few years.  I know a few Butler alums that are fantastic people and fun to talk bball with.

Xavier was a close second to me.  Went last year for the game at the Cintas and was a great atmosphere there.  Fans were fantastic as well.

My small, Catholic grade school in Arlington Hts., IL used the G-Town Bulldog as their mascot.  I've liked them forever.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

It was Xavier to me until the fight with Cincy a few years back. Cronin came out pissed at his guys and held them accountable. I didn't get that sense from Mack. And the x player (i think it was holloway) talking about being a gangster never sat right with me.
