Don't you have a practice at Virginia Tech to coach right now?

He's gone.

If you want to celebrate almost choking away a double digit lead with 11 minutes left, go right ahead.   MU is the better team IMO.

It wasn't a great finish, no doubt.  But a solid win.  Obviously if we had lost there at the end, the bitching here would be endless and certainly understandable.  The ball hitting an extra 1 inch on the back iron on that free throw was a blessing.

We have things to work on.

Here's the way I look at it.  Beat UW, in their building.  That's always a good thing.  But blew a huge lead, didn't lose....also a big thing.   Finally, Wojo has teaching moments because we did falter down the stretch....things he can get into their grill with, mistakes to correct, etc.

Stretchdeltsig

Great winn for Marquette despite the home court officiating. Seems like we dominated them by 10 or 13.

Nothing wrong with recruiting the brother to land the big time guy and nothing wrong with Goodman mentioning it.

Except that he said Wally never plays, and that is wrong both factually and the implication that we took a guy only to get Henry.  Did it help?  Of course, but Wally does play and asshat Goodman was just wrong in his snarky tone and his facts.

Biggest thing from this game: Everyone who questioned if Wojo can coach....well he had a masterful plan in place today. First game this year where it felt like Wojo's gameplan was truly a decisive advantage for us. He deserves a lot of credit for this one.

I have no more doubts about Wojo. But my biggest takeaway is that henry proved e that he is a game changer. For a 19 year old kid to go into that environment and just put the team on his back down the stretch was something to see.

It was great to see. Losing that lead may be more beneficial long term in the way of growth.

My favorite part is that it is neither illegal or un-ethical...maybe he should start talking about what other schools do to get a similar caliber player...

Just like I had to learn that what I wear doesn't affect the outcome of the games, I will tell you that what you drink also doesn't affect the outcome of the games. Something tells me that if you drink Leffe for the next game, we'll still win.

I would understand the Wally talk if he played at Bemidji State or Valley State, but he received and accepted a D1 scholly from a high major prior to his arrival at MU.

Said that the smartest move Wojo made was to give Wally a scholly so that Henry would sign.  Then went on to say that Wally "never plays".

I missed that. Another good reason to despise Goodman

I love to listen to the rivals postgame. Especially if after the coaches comments the radio host opens the phone lines to the fans. So for me, I love to see the facial expressions of that asshat, Bo, on the TV, and then hear the rival fans reactions on the radio call in show.

LSU's issue isn't about scoring points as much as it is about stopping teams and rebounding the ball. Craig Victor should help. Soon.

Henry Ellenson so, so skilled. Has 11 and 9 and Marquette now up 14 midway thru second half at Wisconsin.

accidently copied all of goodman's comments up to henry-the last one.  but note his "so, so" comment about henry.  only 11 and 9 when we were up 14-what's with this guy?
