Felt like trolling, found this on the scout board.  This post acknowledges they are playing a decent MU team.

"The Marq game is suddenly taking on a big level of importance.....even setting aside state bragging rights, recent recruiting battles, etc.

Marq looks to be a 7 seed to fringe tourney team, and although Wisc has its marquee non-conference win (Cuse), it missed opps against GTown and Oklahoma. Temple and Marq represent somewhat known brands in the NCAA world, so those 2 wins should help the resume. Going 3-2 for this young squad would be good, particularly given the W Illinois result.

Either way, it feels like all UW really needs to do to be tourney bound is get to 10-8 mark in conference. Getting to 12-6 (and 10-3 non conf) likely gets them to the 4 or 5 seed line this yr......appears there will be a ton of top 25 shuffling based on games thus far"

Felt like trolling found this on the scout board.  Feel free to post your favorite post. At least this post acknowledges they are playing a decent MU team.

U-Dub is pretty well know, one of the better historical programs on the West Coast and a great research institution.  Not to mention it is in a beautiful city.

The fact that he thinks they are going 12-6 in conference is insane. They play Maryland, Purdue, and Michigan State 2 times each...Those are some high expectations...

The win at Syracuse was a good one, but they will get beat up in ACC play. VCU and Temple are "household" names, but not nearly as good as they have been in the past.

Here's my favorite post, in the age-old discussion of Marquette using "two scholarships" to get Henry:

My question on this henry/wally thing is....for henry to go there was wally guaranteed playing time also? I get giving him a scholarship to ensure henry would go there, but it appears wally was guaranteed playing time also!

There has been a lot of grudging respect for Henry's play so far this year.  Of course, it's wasted at Marquette!

Is there anyone else here rooting for Wally to have his career game against UW?

"I agree with this.  I am still not sure how good Marquette is.  In a couple of years, even when Ellenson is good, Marquette is going to be good.  I don't think they are quite ready for this.  I think UW wins by about 10."

I wonder if this person knows that HE is averaging 16 and 8, and their best player is averaging 16 and 6...unless they mean Wally...

I think he meant to type "even when Ellenson is GONE" rather than "good"

Ahhh, that makes more sense.  Thanks for pointing that out.

I'll settle for an ESPN Top 10 ally-oop dunk over Vitto Brown.  Just a little exclamation point to show the badgers that he can, actually, play basketball.
