Though. When you can't shoot it just packs in the zone even more. Shots have been there, they just can't hit them. For those blaming Henry, not much you can do being doubled and triple teamed every time you touch the ball in the post because nobody can shoot.

Can't make this up:

MU:    8 for 31, with 2 of 19 from three     19 of 31 shots from three.
Iowa: 19 for 37, with 7 of 14 from three

12 Turnovers, 4 assists.

Worst three games of defense I have ever seen and I thought last year's team's three point defense was horrid.

Why is Marquette unable to match up man to man with any team ? If they stayed in man against iupui they would have lost by double digits.

We're certainly making it easier on them tonight with some terrible defense and poor shooting.

Reminds me of KU in the Final Four.

At least MU held their own for a bit in that contest. I am reminded of the NCAA game against Michigan St. when we scored something like 17 points in the first half.

Remember when people used to complain because Buzz wouldn't play freshmen because they didn't play defense, didn't run the offense, didn't understand how to play the way he wanted them to?    And everyone thought he was crazy and holding them back?    This is what happens when you are forced to play freshmen heavy minutes.
