Two of the recruits who are named as having sex with the dancers - Antonio Blakeney and Jordan Mickey - ended up going to LSU which kind of has me wondering....

In light of how well so many of these kids know each other from the AAU circuit, I'm guessing the following conversation occurred once or twice:

Recruit No. 1:  "You visiting Louisville?"
Recruit No. 2:  "No, I crossed them off when I set my top 3."
Recruit No. 1:  "You gotta visit Louisville...even if they're not on your list...trust me."

I wonder if they'll be stripped of their title.  Either way, they might not be dancing this year.

Outstanding!

On a related note, if Robert Horry (say the name out loud) WERE the new coach at Louisville, his players could compete to see who would be the next 'Big shot Bob'.   To borrow from Dan Patrick,  "Release, rotation, splash."

Say "Cool Whip."

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

QuoteOklahoma State coach Travis Ford, who played for Pitino at Kentucky, said he is 100 percent confident Pitino knew nothing of the sex parties, if the allegations are true.

Ford said Tuesday during Big 12 Conference media day ''for somebody who played for him and knows what he stands for and his expectations out of his players and how he does things, I know there is no chance in the world he knew anything about it.''

Hypothetically, let's say it's revealed - whether by admission or hard evidence - that Pitino did, in fact, know about the parties... should Travis Ford keep his job for backing Pitino with his "100%" claim?

Very interesting tidbit, three months after Andre McGee left Louisville for Missouri-Kansas City, McGee sent a text to Katina Powell giving her the address of the Louisville hotel where Antonio Blakeney and his guardian were staying.  Powell then says that she had sex with the guardian her daughter had sex with Blakeney.  Blakeney later responded to a text from the daughter saying Hey, you remember me?  From Louisville?  Blakeney responded "Yea, wassup."  Obviously, if McGee had the address to send to Powell after he was gone, someone else at Louisville was involved.

Obviously, the sex is better in Baton Rouge, hey?

I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

No doubt that many of these kids know each other from the AAU circuit, but the real question here is how many kids from the AAU circuit do Katena Powell and her daughter know (in the biblical sense) from the AAU circuit? And the secondary question would be, how did slick Rick not know?

Two things I love today.  1. A picture of Pitino coaching with ashes on his forehead in the ESPN article and 2. this Travis Ford quote

Travis knows about Porcini's right -- we are not talking about some sort of untarnished hero/saint here.  Travis should have instead said "I know Rick and I know how he runs his program.  Rick is too smart not to have plausible deniability on this topic"

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Question: Is it realistic to believe no one in a position of authority (outside of Louisville) knew this was going on? From AAU coaches to parents to handlers, etc. No one knew? More specifically, media/reporters. These people talk to hundreds/thousands of recruits/players, coaches, parents, handlers, etc. They are supposedly "insiders" and have more knowledge than anyone. Is it honestly possible that NO ONE knew about this outside of Louisville? Personally, I do believe people, including media, probably had some idea. Why then would they not say anything?

Follow the $ trail.  Someone was paying for the hookers and it wasn't Andre McGhee.  The Hershey highway goes through  Dick Strong.

It doesn't clear any smoke, it just distracts people from the smoke.

Love all the Lousiville fans who responded who clearly thought it was a serious tweet, lol.

On a serious note, cowardly move by Pitino to skip ACC media day. Especially right after he made a big speech about not letting the fans down. Lawyers probably want to make sure he doesn't make any false statements about not knowing

He should have donned that white suit and a brim and showed up with a hooker on each arm and asked "Any questions?"
