Stone mentioned, too.   Of course mentioning badger nations' gentleness toward him when he chose Maryland.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Those Badgers just exude class...

"Few commitments in the class of 2015 inspired more public backlash than Stone's. After he announced in March that he would attend Maryland rather than stay in his native Wisconsin and play for the Badgers, Wisconsin fans insulted Stone on Twitter about his ACT score."

they probably were being gentle relative to the thrashing he would have received had he chosen MU.

The Big Lead did not have Henry in their Top 50 College players or even in 2 honorable mention lists.  Thought that was curious.  Their editor / founder (Jason McIntyre) is a big CBB fan and has shown MU love in the past.  He also loves the Bucks from the 80's, especially Paul Pressey.

I would have thought a top 10 recruit is automatically one of CBB's best 50.

More likely he is lazy and unorganized and forgot to list him.

Yeah, one of the top sports blogs in the US that was acquired by USA Today.  I'm sure it's laziness.

How dare they!  out of the ~4,500 DI players I demand our top recruit be seen as the top 1 percentile before he's ever played a game.

I see where you are coming from.  I am not demanding it but CBB is a very, very watered down product.  The vast majority of the best players leave after 1 or 2 years so a player who is ranked in the top 5 of his HS class would be ranked, I would think.  Ellenson is the only ESPN top 10 player not ranked.  Now do you see why I thought it was curious?

Caleb Swanigan is #37
Diamond Stone is #34
Cheick Diallo is #24
Ivan Rabb is #13
Malik Newman is #10
Brandon Ingram is #7
Jaylen Brown in #5
Skal Labissiere is #2
Ben Simmons is #1

I totally get it - both the watered down part and the omission.  But you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a CBB analyst or a 'top _____' list and some of those analysts or lists are just not going to be high on certain players.

I think we'd all agree (hope?) that he'll be proven wrong

Henry isn't a consensus top ten recruit. He's ranked as low as 23 in some services.

Here's #9 in the 2016 NBA Draft Projection so I'm not buying this #23 stuff.

Prep rankings this close to the season are worthless. NBA projection rankings much better indicator.

I agree with you that a projected first round prospect not being considered one of the 50 best players in the upcoming college basketball campaign is odd.

Who cares where he is ranked now? He is on campus now and his HS ranking is meaningless today. Now it is up to Henry to get it done on the court.

Stick to headlines, Another.

The blog has nothing to do with it.  No one edits or challenges the author at the blog.  They spell check it, make sure his links does not accidentally go to pornhub and post it.***

The question is did Chris Johnson, through laziness or being disorganized, forget about Henry?

I believe journalist call laziness or being disorganized an "oversight."

*** pornhub link?  Read this about another highly thought of recruiting analyst at a highly thought of blog that I'm sure you think never makes a mistake and the author is always hard at work getting only the best info.

So he is lazy, disorganized and spending to much of his day on pornhub.

Aka "oversight"

Exactly. Instead of wild conjecture, email the guy. Be respectful and ask if it maybe was oversight or he had reasons to be 51st or lower. Let us know what he says.

I don't believe the #9 stuff either.

He should be in the list of top 50.  I think he's at MU 2 years.
