So that's hockey and lacrosse this year, I believe PC won a women's track and field championship last year, and we had a solid showing in the ncaa soccer tournament as well. 2 elite 8 teams and one final four. Not a bad couple of seasons (basketball tournament performance aside).

+1

I've been noticing this two ... if you look beyond basketball the Big East is establishing itself as a major non-revenue sports conference.  Sure it is not the PAC-12 (probably the best non-revenue sports conference) but it is definitely high D1 material.

And to add to the list above one could make a case that the Big East is the best women's XC conference in the country.  Nova, PC and Georgetown are always in the conversation to win the D1 national championship and this past year Butler was also very good.

D1 National Women's XC national championships

2014 Michigan State
2013 Providence Won
2012 Providence was second to Oregon
2011 Georgetown won
2010 Nova won
2009 Nova won

Additionally, between 1989 and 1998 Providence and Nova won the NC 7 times.

Officially, hockey isn't a Big East title, because the conference doesn't sponsor the sport.

With that said, Connecticut won a national championship in field hockey as an associate member of the Big East.
