As an MU fan, I would argue 3 of UK biggest top 10 all time losses, have been to teams from Wisconsin. (MU '69, MU '03, and UW '15);
I could not find an all time top 10 worst losses for UK BB... just this list for the last 20 years:
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/763272-kentucky-wildcats-10-worst-losses-of-the-last-20-years/page/11I don't agree with this list...but it includes the MU vs UK blowout in 2003.
Updating this, the UW loss surely makes anyone's top 10 UK recent loss list.
Beyond 20 years ...All time top 10... we would also have:
3/13/1969 (#7) Kentucky vs. (#14) Marquette 74 - 81 NCAA Mideast Regional Semifinals (at Madison, WI) ;
and of course,
3/19/1966 Texas Western L 65 - 72 NCAA Championship (at College Park, MD) ;
These were two of the biggest "desegregation" loss games of UK history.
(Politically very incorrect Joke: Does UW's traditionals win avenge UK's Texas Western loss? lol)
UKers would probably only concede the UW loss was a top 10er, but some may agree the history of the '69 loss was pretty big, too:
Thursday, March 13 1969 -
NCAA Mideast Regional Semifinals (at Madison, WI)
MU 81 UK 74
Adolph Rupp, Dan Issel for UK
Al McGuire, George Thompson, Dean Meminger, Ric Cobb for MU
Contrary to the movie "Glory Road" (involving Texas Western beating UK in the NCAA, in 1966), some say it was this game that sealed Adolf Rupp finally integrating his all white UK squad with african american players
