The badgers had a great run. Any longer and it will be cruel. Im not even wishing them ill-will because its still good press for the sport in wisconsin, its just getting annoying with all the taunts against MUBB.

If I knew any Wisconsin-Madison fans who were fans of the team 25 years ago when I was rooting for Tony Smith and Trevor Powell, I'd be genuinely happy for them. But I don't. So Let's Go Duke.

BTW, despite what our esteemed state media is saying, Wisconsin-Madison is a FAVORITE in the game.

Pulling for Duke, but this just feels like 1991 when Duke beat UNLV and won their first title two days later. Unfortunately for us, it's UW-Madison is playing Duke, Bo is playing K, and Frank Kaminsky is playing the ugliest possible version of Christian Laettner.

I put in two brackets this year - one with Villanova winning over Kentucky (for my bro), and one with Duke winning over Wisconsin ('cuz I hate Kentucky slightly more than I hate Wisconsin).

The Duke bracket still lives.

My reply:  "So, say you lived in Poland back in 1943 and Germany invaded 4 years ago.  Do you just switch teams?  Hey, these German guys are OK, and they're kicking ass and taking names.  I'ma gonna start cheering for Germany!"

Did I lose the argument because I (aptly) compare UW to Hitler?  No I did not.

Secondly, I hope the road ends in Indianapolis tonight. Against Kentucky, they were playing a young talented team that didn't have maturity.

I am in law school at UW (forgive me), and my girlfriend is a UW alum...mostly because of her I have tried and tried, but I cannot bring myself to cheer for the badgers. I got into an argument with her once about MU vs. WI...she took all the typical WI elitist points and I ended up telling her she is the reason I can't cheer for WI (oops). 

Side note:  I am sitting in class right now wearing my MU apparel in a sea of red - wish me luck.
