Cowherd Tells Bo Ryan to "Chill Out"

I found this article on 247sports and thought it was pretty funny. Here's part of it:

Do you understand how hard it is -- do these millionaire coaches have any idea how hard it is to put this event together? I don't really care for Bo, but Cowherd is a total blowhard.

Writes an article about a coach "complaining" then turns right around and complains of not getting preferential treatment while visiting Madison? OK Colin...

Look, Bo does complain a lot.  He bitches about almost every call.  (He was actually calmer than usual Sunday - I think he just knew they weren't playing well.)  But remember that Buzz was complaining about the NCAA two years ago after they beat Butler, and we thought it was endearing. 

And Colin, if you can't get flights to Madison, you are using the wrong travel agent.  It isn't *that* hard.  And it's very easy to get to campus from the Dane County Airport.  A 10-15 minute drive.

I heard this live and got a good chuckle from it.  Cowherd IS a blowhard trying to get good ratings, ala Skip Bayless. I don't listen to Bayless/Screamin A. Smith and listen to Cowherd only when he has good guests on.

Crying about traveling for a Sweet 16 game?  The NCAA could have put WI as a No. 2 against Kentucky and eased Bo's travel concerns.

Bo is an incessant whiner. I'm honestly surprised more refs don't just T him up.

That said, Wojo looks like he could be cut from a similar cloth. He gets very animated at perceived bad calls. If he has Bo-like tendencies, it will be interesting to see our reactions in the coming years.

Indeed, not perfect, but I'd take the winning.  However, the constant complaining from UW fans about how he whines and is an embarrassment on the sidelines would get old.  The low graduation rates would also be an issue for them, and for Marquette.

Of course, but that's not the point. We can say that about several coaches; doesn't mean we can't "hate" them because they're not ours!

How many opposing fans hated Al's guts? Millions! But most of them would have killed to have Al as their team's coach.

Mine is being tested, but in a different way.  Pundits are not important enough to waste the hate.  My hate is directed to Roy Williams and the farce that is the University of North Carolina (with a good dose for the NCAA).  With a daughter going to Madison this fall my typical hate is going to be sorely tested this Thursday.  So, the enemy of my enemy is playing my enemy---I don't think that makes either of them my friend.

It is a not easier to "hate" NC than almost any other team given their infractions.

I still have hope that NC gets punished in a serious way, but maybe that is asking for too much.

Bo's an excellent coach, and he can be pretty engaging and even charming when he wants to be.

BUT...

Bo also has some crabby old man in him. We've all seen it, and I've heard about it from people who have interacted with him.
