Best of luck to Dawson! As I have stated earlier, watching kids transfer is like watching kids leave the nest at home. You don't want it to happen but you (almost) always wish them the best.

Watching a coach "transfer", on the other hand, is more like a messy divorce; generally not as sweet and certainly not going to be characterized by well wishes.

Yep, the interracial ban was Bob Jones. But I got interested and found some nuggets from the Liberty University Handbook.

On dating: Handholding is the only appropriate form of personal contact. ... After dusk, students should not be alone with an individual of the opposite sex in any unlighted area such as the ball fields, parking lots, parked cars, ravine or other wooded areas, etc. This is considered improper social behavior.

And entertainment: No "R" rated movies and ... the Division of Student Affairs will continue teaching guidelines and principles to students related to all forms of entertainment. This would mean that many "PG-13" and some "PG" movies, although not prohibited by policy, may also be inappropriate.

Looks like John will have plenty of time to focus on basketball!
