Juan.

No idea how he only has 1 SOTG on the year.

Because while Juan does what Juan does every game, each time there has been one or two Warriors have career games. So we say Carlino and then Juan. Or Duane and then Juan. Or Derrick and then Juan.

We sometimes take Juan for granted ... and that's actually a compliment to him.

Juan was outstanding today and is my stud, but I certainly wouldn't quibble with either Cohen or JJJ.

I do not know what you were feeling, but before Sandy hit those back to back threes, I thought we were going to gey blown out. He completely changed the game. Juan had a great game, but if Sandy had spent the entire game on the bench we would not even be talking who the SOTG is.

This point definitely has merit. I was thinking the exact same thing as I watched.

Juan is becoming a poor man's Jae Crowder. He does a bit of everything and just plays with so much energy. He doesn't have the same outspoken on court demeanor but you always want him on the floor.

I really hope Sandy is paying close attention to Juan this year. If he can match that intensity level in the coming years he could truly be a very special player.

In an internal debate that kept me up at night (not really), gave it to Juan.  Sandy's 100% shooting performance, and timeliness of it, certainly made him the GCOTG (game changer of the game), but Juan was the SOTG.

Fair enough. Nice choice.

I'll say it differently.  Sandy can become a 'rich man's' Juan Anderson.

Definitely Juan.  When he threw his mouthguard across the floor in disgust (due to the poor traveling call against him), it incited the team and gave them an edge the rest of the way.

Great idea....now we can have a SOTG and GCOTG.

As much as I'd like to agree, I actually thought Juan took 3 steps and it was the right call.

That was one of those that in real speed, you think "wait, that looked a little strange.  He must have traveled." But until you see the slo-mo, you're not sure.  Definitely the right call.

I totally thought they called it on Duane on the pass and thought it was the worst call ever.  Didn't think about Juan (I thought they blew the whistle on the pass).  I nearby rescind all my complaints about the refs for that play.

Thrilled with Juan's all-around efforts this season but I just took a quick look at the stats ...

As the college hoops season nears the midway point, I wonder how many D-1 starters have a higher 3-point percentage than FT percentage.

Can't be many ... if any.
