After this game not so sure we'll win any.

You knew we would lose bad games and win good games.

I don't see a road win all year,,,

. I think we can win a couple road games. For some reason we have struggled with depaul as of late

forgetful

MU still wins at least 8 games in conference.  Still wins at least 2 on the road.

We'll win some we shouldn't and lose a few we shouldn't.

I'll call it now.  We beat Nova this year.

Figured what out?   13 games into his head coaching career.

That's why you have to leave and leave the irrational to their stupid statements.  Come back in 24 to 48 hours.

It has been clear from the start of the year that this team would have some bad loses.  Once Luke came on board, I became focused on the surprising wins we might be able to steal and wistful thoughts of post-season play.  This game realigned my expectations back to where they were at Midnight Madness.

Any of them except Nova.  Their skill and depth is too much for MU this year.  Anyone else?  Absolutely.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

I think we lose a lot on the road with 8 guys and maybe win 6 games at home.

You already started a thread with this sheet. We get it Willie, but thanks for putting your "Wojo blew it" here also in case we missedit. Can you sneak it in another thread? I bet you can.

Norm

With 4 of the first 6 on the road, MU could easily start out the Big East 0-6.

I agree.  When we have an on night, we will be able to compete with most of the teams in the conference.

This was a bad matchup. DePaul is number seven in the nation in adjusted tempo. Omaha and NJIT both in the top 25. DePaul also has nine players who shoot above 30% from three. Still should have won, but a bad matchup nonetheless.

C'mon, that's a bad DePaul team without one of their best players and their D is exceptionally bad.

madtownwarrior

Ok Dodds...  Good lord, can't match up against the worst team in the league missing their second best player...

If DePaul is a bad matchup then I honestly don't see a good matchup on the schedule during conference play.  Every other team we will be playing plays better defense and has big men that will give this team fits.
Shut this board down at the opening tip.  If they win, open it back up.  If they lose, keep it shut it down until the next morning.  - Sultan of Slurpery

When the team lost to Omaha everyone was groaning about not winning any more games and blah blah blah. We go on a win streak against terrible teams and people think we can finish in the top half of the big east and win 11 games. Then we lose one game and all of a sudden its back to the doomsday talk. Yeesh.

I think he has figured out he has a pitiful jump shooting team. beyond abysmal.
