Lots here are tearing apart Ner's posts this season.  Were they as good as we all thought they'd be coming into this year?  No.  Dealing with a mental disorder?  Yes.  New ways to rip on Derrick Wilson?  Yes.  Given choppy spelling and grammar that leads to choppy sentence structure?  Yes.

But let's look at his per 24 hour numbers:

158.6 posts/day
97.2% of them about Derrick Wilson
76.5% of them redundant
0.43% saying anything new
57.8% of scoopers calling for a ban
2.74 ignores daily

You can compare those with Derrick Wilson's numbers and its a landslide as to how much of a better player he is/was (he can still dunk a basketball) - even though he's gotten trashed by many here.

Very well played.

Oh,  and the answer to your question is "very".
HILLTOP SENIOR SURVEY from 1984 Yearbook:
Favorite Drinking Establishment:

1. The Avalanche.              7. Major Goolsby's.
2. The Gym.                      8. Park Avenue.
3. The Ardmore.                 9. Mugrack.
4. O'Donohues.                 10. Lighthouse.
5. O'Pagets.
6. Hagerty's.

Well played - the stats of the "box score fan" himself.

I'm guessing he'll argue that the stats aren't "official." ::)

76.5% redundant.  LOL

brandx

I think most of us feel the same way. We don't mind his opinion. We mind hearing it over and over ad nauseum.

MerrittsMustache

His redundant percentage has gone down quite a bit since last season, but it's still not where it needs to be in order to truly be a contributor.

Ners makes some good points and is knowledgeable. It is too bad he is hung up on this one topic, because I would like to get his point of views on other MU related topics.

I like Ners too, I just felt like lightening the mood some because it's been a rough week on this board.

I had him for 1.33% new stuff, but hey, I tend to see the glass as half full.

I mean, I didn't even put Ners on ignore until today!

Did Buzz give you those stats from memory?

Yep!  I was actually trying to think of a way to tie into a "Karnak the Magnificent" routine but I'm not that clever.  Carson was a very, very funny guy.  And Ners is very, very bad!

tower912

Yeah, but some of that .43% new isn't tough new stuff, it is easy, routine new stuff and shouldn't count toward his statistics.    Plus, I think you are showing some bias because he is sucking up to you.

Did you see the Carson documentary on PBS a couple of weeks ago?   Carson monologue was required watching.

No, I'm just trying to be like Ners' ideal coach by giving him more consistent runs of posting unlike you Wojo and Buzz supporters nailing him to the ignore button.

It's the redundancy that gets me. I leave for the better part of a year, come back, and he is having the same argument with the same people. Though like a vortex, I've been sucked back in to being one of those people.

I'm just shocked that people don't realize Ners does all this is to get attention. These types of threads are just a stroke for his ego.

Just ignore him, it's really as simple as that.
