JJJ's form could be serviceable if he picked the right opportunities.  In the Wisco game, he shot from 3-4 ft beyond the line over Gasser and early in the shot clock.  This is not going to get you very far.  JJJ doesn't look to drive much which I think it detrimental to his shooting.  He needs to try to get to the basket and get fouls.

I think his form is in direct relation to his length.

Shot NEEDS to change if he wants any realistic chance of making it to the next level.  Kevin Durant has somewhat of a similar shooting motion, but he's a freak.  Poor shooting forms do find their way into the NBA, but not often.  Blue's wide elbow / chicken wing, flip shot motion was holding him back.  Similar story for JjJ.  Love his athleticism, though.

People on this board seem to expect JJJ to go from playing 0 meaningful minutes last year to somehow being a borderline all conference player. You guys gotta chill out on him. He's got the pieces to be a great player it's just gonna take a while. Maybe it'll be later this season, maybe it'll be next year. Who knows. Give him a break.
Agreed

This sentence is the grammatical equivalent of JJJ's shooting form.
???  I replied while I was on a boring conference call.  Sorry I don't meet your standards.

I don't not believe that my standards are that high...  :)

He played quite a bit at the start of last season. He wasn't ready, played himself to the bench. He's playing more this season, but so far has been disappointing again. Maybe you're right and he becomes a great player. This year. Or next year. But maybe never.

No sweat.  Probably should of let it go anyway.

Looks like JJJ will be getting a lot of minutes now.

I actually thought he would have left before Deonte. Now we will find out if he can play, but if he can't play D, we will be like Norman Dale in "Hoosiers" with four guys on the court.

Some would argue this has been the case since the start of last year...
