Good win for the team. Du Wil is a player!

I thought he would be the starting PG last year.   In hindsight, I doubt he would have started and his defense isn't better than JJJ's or Deonte's, but he definitely could have provided some spark.

I thought he played hard on defense all night. Not particularly well at times, but he made the effort.

Agreed.

And at the end of the game, he was the only one who really wanted the ball. Stepped up to the effen line and swished 'em with confidence. He is going to be a very nice offensive player and has nearly 4 full seasons to get better on D a little bit at a time.

Keep in mind this is his fourth college game. With the other players on the team in other positions, I could see him replacing either Derrick or Thomas in the starting lineup or getting the bulk of the minutes.  I would also say Derrick would have been at 25mins.

Right now, defense is a weakness across the board.

Yeah.... I noticed in the last couple minutes that I was looking for where Duane was on the floor every time MU had an out of bounds play. Wanted him to get the in-bounds pass.

BCHoopster

What is really weak is the D on the out of bounds plays, this is coaching, Buzz played zone a lot, that is what should be done, bunny after bunny on the out of bounds plays.
