Avoid the bet altogether. There's surer money in Madoff investments.

What say you?

I say Marquette is giving the points.

Tease it down to 14, throw it in a two team with the Saints to +3 and double your money.

If betting on sports was legal of course.

Take the points. I think Marquette will win, but the only spread they covered this year was Ohio State and NJIT is going to play the same way UNO did. I hope I'm wrong, but I would guess Marquette wins by 7-10 points.

Coleman

MU wins tonight, but no way they cover the spread. MU by 12.

Take the points. North Jersey Shore is salivating at this matchup and may win outright.

Since we covered the spread against OSU, that proves we belong in the conversation.

I hope my life never gets to the point where I am betting on games like MU vs NJIT.

That being said, take the points...

Woe be unto the team that plays Marquette after a loss.

What conversation?

We will play better and guessing NJIT can suck worse by at least a 20 pt. differential.

Class71

NJIT has been bad for year's and is not a serious contender. This is one of those games where we win but proves little unless it is by 20 or more. Unfortunately, I will take the points until the "Process" begins to have a positive impact on MU. I will be cheering but will have realistic expectations until then.

Trap bet again. I was right with Ohio St. If people are actually betting on this game I imagine almost everybody is going to take the points especially after last game. Vegas knows. Take MU -20.

But as the Dodd's excuse machine points out - Omaha had really fast guards.    Does NJIT have fast guards or any other excuse that can be made for losing a game that should not have been lost...

MU82

I would have bet against MU vs. OSU (and would have lost by a point) and against MU vs. UNO (and, sadly, would have won).

Isn't NJIT the school that lost approximately 82 gazillion games in a row at one point? I gotta think that if we are going to break one open and just have fun, this would be a candidate. Gun at my head, I'm giving the 20. Maybe we'll win by twice that and all our troubles will be solved!

NJIT lost by 19 @ St. Johns = St. Johns > Marquette
NJIT small and young team = Marquette
Random Variable NJIT 6'10 freshman from Russia > Marquette
NJIT poor offense = Poor MU Defense
Matt Carlino due for big game > NJIT

Final Result  83-78  MU
Carlino explodes with 6  3 pointers.

Jeez, Dark Lord of Douchebaggery, you actually think we have a chance to beat mighty NJIT and its Drago-like Russian with that horsecrap coach we settled for?

Yes they are that school, but they aren't nearly that bad anymore. Still a team we should beat by 15+.

I never said the coach was horsecrap.  I merely questioned his ability to coach defense based on the lack of all around hustle.  Scared of a little critical thinking?

Yes they do. They are both fast and both can score.

Marquette by 23.

If the game is on Fox Sports that is going to be pretty high scoring baseball game.

Nope, DLoDouche. I merely questioned your ability to rate a coach 3 games into his tenure.

You would have fired Wooden and Coach K 50 times before they ever won anything.
