Gabe Levin is leaving Marquette. He had transferred from Loyola Marymount in the spring, was going to redshirt this season

Hopefully it's because he sees a certain 2015 recruit blocking his chance at PT.

Best of luck to Gabe. I think finding him many minutes would have been difficult.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

well that stinks , by all accounts he was pretty good.  However, leaving a week into practice usually means he has sized up his playing time competiton and didnt like his prospects.
Does open a scholarship hopefully, wojo has someone hes ready to pull the trigger on.

Was so excited to wear my HS stuff to cheer him on.  But that's fine wish him luck and I'll cheer for him wherever he goes.  Anyways hoping that this is clearing the way for Henry to know he's the main option at PF.

Another schollie opens up.    Good to see that Wojo is keeping up the MU tradition established by Crean and Buzz.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Sounds like the case. Opens up another schollie for 2015 then...

Any guys we are in on other than Ellenson?
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

This is Levin's third (4th if you include prep school) transfer. St. Thomas More Prep -> Hofstra -> Loyola Marymount -> Marquette -> ?

As he said when he left Loyola, "To be honest I've been through this before," Levin said. "I've learned it's a gut feeling."

Bizarre.  In the end it is just the loss of a practice body for one year.

Wojo must have cooled on him, if we wanted him he'd still be on the team.  Also heard his parents are really overwhelming!!

Joking of course, trying to impersonate our badger friends.  This does suck, thought he would have been a solid contributor in a couple years.  Oh well, wish him the best!!

Seriously!! Coaches better stay loose, might need them to jump in in some drills just to get 10 guys.

Pole-axed, lied to, recruited over. Just win, baby. Squirmy. Did I leave anything out?

If this means we're getting Henry I couldn't be happier!

Odd. Not entirely surprised though. Saw him on campus a total of 1 time and he looked miserable.
