Marquette Madness schedule came out and there is going to be a coaches vs. players 3 point contest. Im taking bets and predictions. My money is on the coaches running away with it.

We R Final Four

Coaches all the way.  If Jake was back it would be a players landslide.  8-)

Whoa, not so fast! Didn't you hear about all the jump shots Derrick's been shooting this offseason?  ;D

Why don't they have a dunk contest vs the coaches, hey?

I actually think Wally is the favorite and Burton is his biggest competition
Bring back FFP!!!

Going to have to have a point spread on this.    Coaches -15?

I thought that was a huge spread at first before I realized Nelson was Florida's all time leading 3 point shooter. Plus you know, Deiner.

I wonder if wojp was expecting this reaction and is using this as an opportunity to showcase how hard the team worked on 3pters

That was two and half years ago. Imagine what he can do after being in a Division 1 strength and conditioning program

Will say Diener for coaches - he's a only few months removed from being a very good player in Italy.

JaJuan for players.  Big year for him - I think we'll see why he's the highest rated recruit we've had in a long time now that his coach isn't a loon.

I'm quite looking forward to seeing Wally's Reverse-Mobius-Fosbury.  I understand it's quite a dunk.  High degree of difficulty.
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

The problem with dunk contests is that they are purely subjective.

A 3-point contest is won by making the most 3-pointers!

Wait a second, how come there weren't any highlights from the 2nd half of the Xavier game...?

Duh...because Deonte was playing too well and that likely would have resulted in us winning the game, and thus lengthening Buzz's time at MU...when he wanted out!   Let's face it, benching your best player in the game for 6:30 of the last 7:00 minutes doesn't make any sense unless viewed through the above lens.

I do think Wally will give Deonte a good run for his money in dunk contest, yet doubt Wally will ever dunk on people in a game the way Deonte can and does.

Wojo? Really glad he's here, but as a player and a shooter he isn't in the same league as Diener. Travis played professionally for, what, 8 or 9 years? Wojo averaged like 5 points a game at Duke.

Both incredible dunkers, but I have to give the edge to Burton for artistry. Ellenson can get up in a hurry but Deonte just has a knack for doing dunks that are aesthetically pleasing, somewhat like Vince Carter and MJ did.

Not only did Diener play professionally for that length of time, but he only retired about six months ago.
