I sometimes forget that you all have been arguing with each other for much longer than I've been on this site. This adds interesting context to some things.

Let's have our own dispute with each other so that all of our future posts in the same thread can have some subtext and angry tension.

I really do hope that Marquette is in a good position with Henry.  He has all of the tools and more that I have dreamed about for a "complete" big man at the University. With him at the 4/5 it could be a heck of a lot of fun to watch the team in 2015 and on.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

I'll accept that challenge.

Nicely done. I can't wait to see this re-posted sometime in 2018.

Now here is a gambler with balls...er, ball. I salute you sir!

Henry's mom downloaded my Real Chili recipe from Pintrest.

Done deal.

Amazing post if in jest, even better if actually true.

Are certain people here really too stupid to use the IGNORE button? I mean, this guy quit posting on a forum he had been on for years and years rather than just using one, simple click on IGNORE.

Show some dignity or willpower. Stop the OCD behavior to defend your manhood every time some stranger disagrees with you. It happens. It's normal. But if you don't have the mental strength to do it, then click IGNORE.

I said LATENT, NOT BLATANT ...

Reminds me of a joke Steve Martin used to tell when he was actually funny back in the '70s:

OK, I don't like to gear my material to the audience but I'd like to make an exception because I was told that there's a convention of plumbers in San Francisco this week. ... So before I came out I worked-up a joke especially for the plumbers. Those of you who aren't plumbers probably won't get this and won't think it's funny, but I think those of you who are plumbers will really enjoy this.

This lawn supervisor was out on a sprinkler maintenance job and he started working on a Findlay sprinkler head with a Langstrom 7-inch gangly wrench.
Just then, this little apprentice leaned over and said: "You can't work on a Findlay sprinkler head with a Langstrom 7-inch wrench."

Well, this infuriated the supervisor, so he went and got Volume 14 of the Kinsley manual, and he reads to him and says: "The Langstrom 7-inch wrench can be used with the Findlay sprocket."

Just then, the little apprentice leaned over and said: "It says sprocket not socket!"

Were these plumbers supposed to be here this show?

I have never seen him play, but based on what has been written about him I see Taylor and Fischer at 4/5 and Henry Ellenson at the three.

I think a lot of people are beginning to see Ellenson as a 3/4 with a good inside/outside game.  And Stone's rise seems to have stalled.

Beginning to see aka finally starting to understand...Oct 12 on LNH:

QuoteHis strength and quickness are not areas of concern, but there is opportunity for him to be elite if these areas progress nicely over the next few years. In college, there is no reason Ellenson can't be a 3/4 switchable type who can score at multiple levels and defend multiple positions.

At a minimum, he's a very good college prospect. With hard work, I can see Henry winding up as a top 10 player in the 2015 class.

Alrighty, maybe not completely on topic, but this thread was cleaned up a lot.  I know everyone thinks they have an important point and/or feel the need to defend their point, but folks, please just report offending posts, and we'll sweep them right under the rug.
