Maybe the University of Marquette can get a game at Wrigley Stadium!

Duane Wilson said the same thing as he put on his MU hat at the presser to announce his commitment.  Won't be the last time, hopefully they have it straight once they're on campus.

There has been the usual Badger blather about high school issues and whether or not he is really any good.   Or if they want to spend one of their rare scholarships on him, as they don't have that many going forward.

I'll have to check out the Kohl Center board- consensus will probably be what a dirtball and stiff he is I'll bet.  Amazing how you go 47 years without sniffing the NCAA's, only NCAA title was when it was only arguably the most important post-season tournament, score 32 points in an NCAA game in the modern era, etc. etc., and now their you know what doesn't stink.

Wiscy's take.

Or this one.
Not surprisingly, they are a little full of themselves right now.

A mid-major to D2 player.
Comparable to Zak Showalter.
Overrated
Just not a Big 10 guy.
Don't get the top 100 hype.

I guess for Badger fans, when you've had the pleasure of watching guys like Tim Jarmusz, Jason Bohannon, and Gasser (who truly is overrated), guys like Noskowiak are just going to naturally pale in comparison.

Relax. Respect the Process.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Awesome news. The use of the DONE DEAL was fantastically done. (It also probably proves that recruits do read MUscoop)

I think this could be the first domino in a chain of several cheeseheads committing in 2015. Bring me Stone, Ellenson, and Heldt!

Thanks Nick!  Fantastic news and welcome.   Laugh at the fact that because you aren't 6'10" that there is a group on this board that will be disappointed.  The other 95% are elated.

They drink the kool aid over there. I wrote something about Nick recommitting to MU and this kid I know started ripping on him also. Its like they think theyre Kansas or Kentucky and top 50 recruits are too good for them.

Update: Its up to two guys now ripping on my Noskowiak post. Eff them all.

I'm a fan of both MU and UW, and I'm not defending what they're saying about NN, but Gasser (and Bohannon if included) is far from overrated. Do you watch college bball? It's not like he/they are All-Americans. Either way, the future is looking even brighter for MU with NN on board! Go MU!

Is anyone interested that he seemed even more positive about this than his original commitment? I think Wojo knows what's up.

Frankly speaking, ThatDude has a point.

When a kid signs there is a thundering herd of welcomes. When that same kid decommits there is a herd of bashing.

Some truth to this. But from what I saw, most people were not pleased about the decommit. They were hopeful that Wojo would real him back in. There definitely was a contingent of people who started to bash him. But I would label them as the loud minority.

It is the trend on Scoop (and life really). When bad news comes up, it is easy for the naysayers to come out and yell their opinions, even if they are the minority. It's hard to be openly positive in those times.

Great re-get. Next year will be a transitional year for Wojo and the team as he inputs his system and style until he gets players that fit his system. Wojo understands the importance of recruiting his own backyard as a backbone to success. NN is a great get for the future and could draw more in state talent to MU. A highly rated big would be huge to open up that pipeline for others to follow and I think it will happen sooner than later with Wojo on the job.

The "University of Marquette".... ?-(

Ah, really? Where's that at?

Is it anywhere near Marquette University in Milwaukee?

Not very bright am I? LOL.

Just asking... :)

Seriously though, there are many young recruits who have made such a mistake if you can call it such.

I am encouraged by his genuine excitement of making what seems like his life changing announcement.

Good guards is the name of the game in the college game and in also in hoops in general so it is great to see MU is getting quality guys of this character in our own backyard.

I see he can shoot...that is always good to see and has some size and wiggle.

Lets welcome Nick to the University decision . . . of a Lifetime here at MU!
