The players we lose next year are 6'1", 6'2", 6'3", and 6'6".  There are also two spots open for this year or next.  We don't need to fill those spots with six bigs.  We do need to fill them with talent - this is talent.

Agree completely. This is a great get. I'm confident Wojo is going after quality bigs.

Here's to hoping he lands some size but this is a great start to laying the foundation for what Wojo wants to do here.

I think it's hilarious that he said "done deal." Well played.

Well played, indeed.   ;D

Since he's friends with Heldt, Ellenson and Pritzl I have a good feeling of at least one of those playground warriors joining him.  Think 2015 is going to be mostly Wisconsin guys, and I'm totally cool with that.

Much more fun to read a thread like this than say, one about some guy's house.

Anyway, welcome (back) Nick!   ;D ;D

You are aware we have additional scholarships to offer, aren't you? Landing Noskowiak will be helpful on MU's pursuit of Henry Ellenson.

Im not gonna say what I want to say because I will get ran off of muscoop.  I'll just stfu and read comments lol

Great news!  Welcome to MU Nick.  Great to see Wojo get this commitment as Buzz offered at VaTech, and Groce at Illinois, along with Izzo and MSU recently getting involved.  Plus the "Done Deal" tweet was very well played...he's a playmaker already!

UNLV also just recently offered.

First domino from 2015 WI class falls to us.

Next Stone, Ellenson, and Heldt.

That class would be right up there if not ahead of O'Neill's 1990 coup of McIllvaine, Key, and Logterman (Brakes transferred not counting him).

Great going Coach Woj and staff!

Awesome news!  Allows Wojo to use his time on other players and pitch that they can play with a solid point going forward... and it allows Noskowiak to recruit for us.

Any other players with polish names we can add?

When you have a Top 50 guy in your state who loves your school and wants to play there, you are crazy if you don't offer him. Not just because you're letting a great player go but because you're burning bridges in the state.

I just committed to the University of Marquette! I can't wait to be playing for coach Wojo in 2 years!!
4:41 PM - 1 May 2014

Any way you say it... It still sounds good to me!

Maybe the University of Marquette can get a game at Wrigley Stadium!

Hey, I kid because I love.

Obviously, I'm very happy about the signing. I'm also happy about the entire process. Hopefully, next time a kid re-opens his recruiting, we don't think the worst. The kid did every single thing the right way, and so did Wojo!

I am pleased that Coach Wojo was able to establish an adequate level of comfort with another one of Buzz's recruits from Wisconsin.  This is a quality re-commit.  And I hope it is only the start of great things.

Mark Miller is all over recruiting news around the state.  Can the Journal hire him to cover MU?  If I had a Twitter account, he'd be the first person I'd set myself to follow.

What was the story of UW's interest (or maybe lack of) in him- were Bo and staff on him?  That seems the elephant in the room, he's right in their backyard, but really never heard about them during the process.

There has been the usual Badger blather about high school issues and whether or not he is really any good.   Or if they want to spend one of their rare scholarships on him, as they don't have that many going forward.
