That guy made passes that are still head shaking to this day. If he and O Lee would have played straight imagine how good MU could have been.
Correct saw them do some amazing stuff on the court. Sam Worthen coached the pro team in the city I live, but only lasted half a season.
Goal is National Championship
CBP profile my people who landed here over 100 yrs before Mayflower. Most I've had to deal with are ignorant & low IQ.
Can't believe we're living in the land of F 452/1984/Animal Farm/Brave New World/Handmaid's Tale. When travel to Mars begins, expect Starship Troopers

It's gotta be Chappie...I remember him puking into a garbage can then coming back into some game and hitting like 5 threes.

For starters Majerus threw him off the team in 1984

Scroll to the right of this link (paper) and check out the NBA notes....'rookie Michael Jordan scored 33 points in the 3rd quarter' as Bulls beat Knicks.   Yowser.

33 in a quarter?  Is that the most ever?

I took a look at the rest of the paper.  It definitely gives you a nostalgic feel when you see what else is in there.  Buick Skylarks on sale ...  Bowling scores .....

Terry Reason was a favorite of mine.  So was Vic Lazzaretti.

Joe Nethen was a crazy man on some bad teams...you never knew what might happen when he was on the floor.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

PVMagic

Trend Blackledge.  Led the nation in Sportscenter Top 10 plays per minutes played.

Joe Chapman. I recall the vomit game was against SLU.

If there was ever any doubt about Crean his leaving Chapman behind in Milwaukee while he pranced around NYC with three freshmen resolved any possible lingering question. Chapman should have gone, not because he was a senior, but because he was a warrior. The Bronzed Beast's inability to comprehend such a simple yet profound precept of leadership is chilling.

Robert Hall and KJ- Kevin Johnson from the '80's.

Ron Curry from the '90's.  He's kind of borderline if he was truly a role player.  He started a lot of games, but was never a number 1, 2, or even 3 option.  I'll never forget his game ending left handed dunk against  Memphis State when Anfernee Hardaway was there, believe it was 1992 or 1993.  I wore the VCR out rewinding that one.  Forget which Memphis player he posterized, but that was nasty.

The 00's- Marcus Jackson- couldn't score, but a force on the boards, could block some shots, and even handled the ball against full-court pressure.

HutchwasClutch

Don't think he's been mentioned, but I can't leave out Mark Anglavar.  Good spot up shooter and a better defensive player than given credit for.  Had his limitations, but a nice player and a nice guy too.

Worst post of the year.  I hope you are not an MU fan and hope you are banned. Ron Curry was far from a role player.

Did you watch the games? Marcus Jackson played no "role"

Ron Curry was the man!

Another favorite of mine.....  The Grimm Reaper

Seriously?!  A favorite for what reason, comic relief?  He was horrid.  He did do one thing extremely well, set illegal screens.  He was masterful at it.  I couldn't stand it when he entered a game.  He got quite a bit of attention when he arrived, Crean's first Michigan recruit.

For the trained eye, he held his own on defense against bigger guys.  He was a banger and played the defensive role of being a hog down low.  Unappreciated, he had one of the best names ever for an MU player.  You should respect him more because "the Reaper is always watching".

You forget yourself! A man with so few posts can not have opinions. Guesses is more like it I should think. Yes, guesses. Watch yourself and your presumption, young man.

Grimm was a player I don't think Deane would have liked even, but to each their own.

Well, if Grimm had been a female lawyer you wouldn't be saying that...

Greg Clausen, Jarred Lovette, and Chris Grimm would have been the triple vanilla, Deane always dreamed of. Try busting through that frontline!!!

With a Brian Barone and Bart Miller backcourt.

Bo Ryan would be jealous of all the "traditionals" on that squad.
