Good 'ol SEC tradition.  I think the article gives good insight on how tradition is bred.  Getting old players to take over high school football programs is a great strategy.  Still, no matter how many handouts this guy gives out, the ability to attract recruits lies within the head coach.  To me, it would seem that what goes on behind closed doors is a zero sum game if each program has a bagman shadow structure in place. 

I once worked with a guy who went to high school with a badger football player, Aaron Stecker and was good friends with him.  He told me that Ron Dayne's mom received an Escalade as part of the deal to come to UW.

Great link. Do we really want to go down the "bag man" path? We all know a friend of a friend.  The cesspool of college sports that nobody wants to talk about.
