In this game it's a surprise that Kentucky played a white person, and two of UW's three black guys have names off the boat from England (Nigel) and Italy (Vito).

Every year when Kentucky gets those great classes, I always wonder if those kids are clueless about Kentucky's history.

My favorite tidbit, Kentucky was the last state to ratify the 13th amendment ending slavery.  In 1973!  Glad to know that they got on board with slavery being a bad idea 110 years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

It's the fact that I'd trade the state of Kentucky for Ukraine, because Kentucky offers nothing to the union except 2 basketball teams who's coaches use more oil in their hair than 3 Geo Prizm Hatchbacks.

I'd much rather be in the south side of Chicago, south central L.A. or Detroit.  I think they are all run by teabaggers....

I think maybe we agree on something - both sides are pretty equal when it comes to their lowlife-ed-ness.

The big difference is Repubs just say what they think (so there's more to make fun of) while Dems are too big of cowards to speak out on what they stand for

I think it's great to label and generalize about everyone. That way, we can make sure we cover 100% of every group with one word or phrase! How easy and convenient.

Sorry for the rant, but you know us Independent Baby Boomers who were born in New England, spent 3 decades in the Midwest and now live in North Carolina. We're all the same -- a bunch of message-board ranters!

I have always wondered how much money they gave Tom Payne to become the first black on Rupp's team and how Rupp was with him.  The greatest game I saw in person was the MU victory over Kentucky who had Issel, Casey and Pratt.  All white, against MU who was mostly black,  Memmingers finest game.  The game in Madison had unique fans waving confederate flag, times
have changed.
