The Shaka ship has sailed...and MU is still standing on the pier.

This "search" could go on for a while. The result? Who the hell knows.

Just pick Wardle already and end the suspense—and let me end my association with MU.

You're going to blow an ACL jerking your knee around like that.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Knee jerk much?
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Probably pull a groin as well.

I reserve the right to say I told ya so when Brian Wardle is stepping to the podium.

But I reserve the right for calling you a bum for bailing on MU.

The "I'm done if so and so is hired" makes me so sick.

If you aren't down to support MU for life get out of here.

Don't let the coach decision hold you back, end the association now.

Didn't realize you were judge and jury for all things MU. Thanks, but I'll decide how—and if—I'll support my school in the future.

Probably, but the lack of a definitive answer from either party keeps the door slightly open. I take a little comfort in Cords' comment that the candidate pool is stronger than it has ever been. I am optimistic that we will get a quality coach at the end of this process.

BTW, can we stop talking about Wardle? It makes us look insecure and fitting of the amateur hour perception. Also, there may be a day in the future where Wardle would be a quality hire.

Where's Wadesworld when you need him? Something about a protocol...or something

How much arm twisting does someone need to take a job? Maybe Shaka doesn't want the gig and it's time to move on.

Goose

I do not believe the Shaka ship has sailed for a minute. By no stretch do I think that story has been written yet. Just my two cents!!

Milwarriorkee

Honestly I don't get the pessimism.  If SS said yes he would need some time to inform players/recruits, etc.  If it wasn't for Keefe's remark in the chatroom this presser would not dampen my optimism at all.

I have no idea... and neither do you.

He said something along the lines of:

It's not going to be Shaka.  It will be Weber.  Which is still a good hire.

Goose

Not so sure Keefe is correct on that.

Because you believe:

1.  It will be Shaka  OR

2.  If it is not Shaka, it will be someone (Martin) other than Weber?
