Ripe For A Meltdown
« on: March 27, 2014, 01:04:47 PM »
Board seems ripe for a meltdown in t minus 1 hour.  Personal insults -- jokes getting a little less funny - Tense!

I will be back after a few meetings but can't wait to see the outcome.

Why do you think that? I think this board has well-adjusted expectations for this news conference.

You're good enough, smart enough, and doggone it, people like you!

Even Shakespeare knew you have to respect the process:

"If it be now, ’tis not to come. If it be not to come, it will be now. If it be not now, yet it will come—the readiness is all."

Okay, so if this is not a "press conference" but media availability where he mingles and informally answers questions... I don't expect anything to come out at 2:00 today.

If nothing by 5:00 tomorrow, it just means we are moving on to the next candidate, is my guess.

Tense? Not at all... Personal attacks? That's normal. Just getting ready for a big second half...
