The presser specifically said it was only to give an update on the coaching search.

I suppose there is a chance they've been talking. I'll admit as much. I still think it was nothing more than a process of gaining some leverage on this end, though...at the very most.

I have no reason to weigh the Marquette sources over the VCU ones, "just because." None of the national sports media has mentioned anything significant beyond simple talks. Everything I've heard about Doc etc. is purely speculation if we're looking at this objectively. If it happens, it happens, but some of this is just getting silly at this point.

I think Warrior Ram is right about what Shaka is doing and quite frankly it bothers me.  It bothered me when Buzz did it as well for what that's worth.
