I think you're safe. Nothing for 48 hours but the guy who does some stuff for the team knows a coach has been found. Better yet, knows 1 front runner that was eliminated. Yet all the insiders close to the team that have been all over this know nothing. Good grief.

Piper, you did good, but made two crucial errors.  One was saying it was not one candidate who you knew and the other was the source of the info. You remedied the source aspect, but the bigger problem was advising the non-identity of the losing candidate.  If you had just said a hire is going to happen tomm, for sure, I know it, etc., all would have been fine.

That is all.  I seriously don't know who it is, I do know who it's not  .  And I know he's happy with the hire. The guy would tell me he thinks it's probably going to be announced tomorrow and that we were right about the whole president timeline being bumped forward to make the hire the president's thing.
