I saw that, although I have no idea who he is.  Our next coach, perhaps?

I found one.  No idea if I'm right.  Yesterday a sometimes well-connected poster on this board referred to a deadline of sorts.  I'm thinking that may be the deadline that Keefe is referring to.  But, I'm guessing.

Slightly off topic but I've always found it somewhat curious that a school with a very strong  religious affiliation in the South, like Wake, would have the word "demon" in their nickname or mascot....

Of course all know that K is the true devil so blue devils makes a lot of sense at dook...and besides it's really the university of New Jersey's southern campus and has a very large Jewish population that doesn't believe in the devil anyway.....but that's for another topic

Sorry for the ramble ...these last three days have taken their toll

Life has to have deadlines or nothing will ever get done. Wednesday is an important day.

Everyone knows what day Wednesday is... it's garbage day!

Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Wake Forest athletic teams were originally known as the "Baptists" or "The Old Gold and Black." However, in 1922 the editor of the school newspaper, Mayor Parker '24, created the alliteration "Demon Deacons" to describe a major defeat over Trinity (now Duke). When Wake Forest College's publicity director, Henry Belk, began incorporating the nickname into his press releases, newspapers from around the country started to proclaim the success of the Demon Deacons. There are some things at Wake Forest that are absolutely unique. The familiar spirited figure in top hat and tails on the sidelines at every game is one - The Wake Forest Demon Deacon.

Well, to be fair, those are blue demons.  Think of them as pissed off smurfs

Wake, OTOH, I agree.  A demon as a member of clergy?

Wardle? He took the UWM job. Didn't you hear about Jeter being tight with Lovell?

Not sure what it means but Jeter just added this to his Twitter page:

Did Willie Wonka do a concert at Wake Forest?

"LET ME HERE YOU SAY "UMPA""
"UMPA"
"LET ME HERE YOU SAY "LUMPA""
"LUMPA"

It must have been good if they erected a statue to commemorate it.

I4 to Wake?

Nothing, actually

Sometimes I don't get scoop.
How do we get so excited so quickly?
All we need is to chill and let things play out.
Keefe hasn't said anything to say either is out of the running.
All of us need to calm down.
Smart move is to just take a deep breath, calm down, and let it play out.

Wake Forest not religious? Read their "purposes and objectives":

As an institution founded by the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, Wake Forest University seeks to shape its goals, policies, and practices by Christian ideals. It seeks to help its students become mature, well-informed and responsible persons. It seeks to introduce its students to the cultural heritage of our times, through a broad study of the humanities, the natural and social sciences and mathematics, and through a concentration in at least one academic discipline. It seeks to develop in its students the ability to think honestly and clearly, to use the English language correctly, and to use at least one foreign language effectively. It seeks to assist its students in building a system of values which takes full account of the things of the spirit as well as things material that they may become constructive and useful members of society. Finally, it seeks to aid its students in achieving for themselves a vital and relevant faith. These purposes underlie the total academic program of the University.
