Interesting. The VCU fans were confident that if Shaka Smart left that Rhoades would take over for him. So, maybe that's a sign that Smart is indeed staying at VCU.

Curious--do you know the terms of the Rice contract, do you know if VCU reached out to Rhoades indicating that he wasn't a shoe-in, etc.? I wouldn't be so quick to interpret this one way or another. But then again, it is the Internet. Carry on.

Tell us why would we take an assistant from a mid-major? Much better options. Like your current head coach  Ill say it again. I dont think MU lands Shaka but if by some miracle they do, you will be the first one I contact.
