I laughed at the first post, then laughed again at this post!

That is why this is great fun. Kudos to all.

I really would love to know what these Milwaukee reporters have as far as sources.  Today has been horrible as far as journalism goes--tons of misinformation and speculation on what I assume are just shreds of truth.

That being said, maybe IWB has a source like the one who called Buzz to VT a few weeks ago.

Pip ones leading strong with it- but relying on TVV sources

Ellenson Guerrero

I trust IWB and Roy Schmidt more than Goodman.  But it is odd how quiet the national guys have been on this.

Alright, can someone update us non milwaukee folk on Fox News up there? I believe they said there was news at 9

Reports are there are a lot of rumors, and all of them are disjointed and altogether unsubstantiated at this time and are more likely to be broken by print media than the 9 o'clock news.

Seriously, it's one thing to speculate as a fan but when it's your JOB to report the news and you unnatural carnal knowledge it up.... kind of terrible

The Process

Pip and Jeremy Ross went on for about 4 minutes on this. Just wrapped up.
Relax. Respect the Process.

WTF?  Anyone speak jive?

I'd venture to say what's not being tweeted is more telling than what is being tweeted.

For those that do not speak jive, 'I'm weak' is a reference to feeling 'entertained, amused or hysterical' and is typically accompanied by the 'tears of laughter' emoticon. Having followed athletes on twitter for years, it's a fairly common reference.

If it wasn't chaotic around here, we might have got some buzz around the WNIT opponent... I4!   We lost.

Their players aren't allowed on twitter.

AD policy or Shaka policy?  If the latter, Juan is transferring and Davante is glad to be graduating!

N is for nowledge

That's right, Kansas and Nebraska used to be in the same conference.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

This is all getting weird with no official announcement yet.

Was there this much activity on the scoop when Tom Crean left?

This is just epic.

Someone go post this at the VCU boards and see what they say

Have any of the other "Shaka to" schools ever been so close that their respective local media is reporting it official?

I hope we haven't pulled a Bobby Knight at Wisconsin.  Hopefully we haven't.

If we find out he played us, who are we more upset with - Buzz or Shaka?

IMO this is telling. There is absolutely NOTHING about this coming from anywhere outside Milwaukee. Maybe they really are just out of the loop, but I have to believe that if one of the most coveted young coaches in the country was relocating, there'd be some rumblings. Right now, the only rumblings I sense are the aftermath of some probably-too-old coleslaw I found in the back of my fridge.
