Gottlieb is also a tool who said Miami would be MU "By a sizable margin" last year in the NCAA. I will never forget it especially since after the game after Frank Martin and Barkley were saying what MU did right all Gottlieb did was keep quiet. His only post game contribution was what Miami did wrong.

Gottlieb reeks of douchery. But, in fairness, every expert picked Miami except eamon brennan.

Listened / half watched the Harvard / UC game.  Definitely remembered from last year that he's a really good color commentator.  Just get him out of the studio where the d-bag comes out.

Was it last year when he made the awkward "White Guy" comment on the set and no one laughed?  He's just developed a persona for the air, one that makes me despise him but a persona none the less.

If you can get past his douchery (i know it's hard), Gottlieb is actually one of the better analysts around.  He knows the college game really well and knows a lot of the mid majors really well too.

If I am able to forget it's Gottlieb I am listening to, I agree that he does a decent job calling a game.   As soon as I remember it's Gottlieb, he is dead to me.

If he could just let somebody else get the last word on something just once in a while I might take him more seriously as an analyst.  He just cannot admit to being wrong or even the possibility that someone can have a different opinion than his own.

I have to admit I will not listen to him because he has such an edge about him. Good example of what not to do on the air in IMHO.
