Great video.  I was just about to post this, but I couldn't get the video to embed.

Mods, is there a way to embed non-Youtube videos?

This was outstanding.

I don't mean to hijack this thread but when they interviewed Derrick Wilson and the graphic said "senior Marquette University" I laughed out loud thinking this was a Ners wet dream.

Caught most of it.  When that kid was telling his Buzz's Bunch story, sitting on his bed...pass the tissue. Great story; must see for all of MUScoop.

This is awesome.   Brings more good will to MU than does a subpar season brings bad.

Another reminder:

If you have tickets for one of their games that you are not able to use, please donate them to Buzz's Bunch.  The joy you see on the kids' faces as they shoot around with the team is real.  You won't miss much by skipping the IUPUI game, and it WILL make a difference in the life of a family with a special needs child.

Buzz may be stubborn, but that was great for him and MU.

Should be shown to the parents of recruits.  Great job.

Sometimes we forget that it's about more than just wins and losses.

Tums Festival

Sure makes you remember what's important in life. Great work Buzz!

I happen to know one of the families in the video. Not sure it even does it justice.

The more I hear about Buzz's Bunch, the more I want him to have this job for life - even if we never make it back to the Final Four or a championship. This is important. This matters.

Along with that, it is one of the reasons that an MU administration worth it's salt will allow him some leeway and will do everything in its power to keep him.     This is the type of person the MU community should want as the basketball coach.   Bad seasons happen.    Character is forever.

Yeah, but one of the few times I am in total agreement with him.

Would it tell them anything they don't already know about Buzz?  They may have had their differences of opinion with him, but not about this.

This video sums up why I love Buzz no less than I did before the debacle that was this season.

It's not just that there is more to life than Marquette basketball, there obviously is. But it's incredible for Buzz to actually remind us of that from time to time, inbetween providing the joys and heartache of being a fan. As long as Buzz is at the helm, it is reassuring to know that those running the program retain that perspective and will continue to occasionally bring us back down to earth and remind us that at the end of the day, how much playing time Derek Wilson or John Dawson got last game really isn't one of life's more important dilemmas.

Buzz is a credit to Marquette University and the school is lucky to have him for his work on and off the court.

Maybe (probably...definitely)  I'm a little slow after a Stiegl and a Weihenstephan, but I'm not sure what you mean by this.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.
