Should be a good game. The game in Milwaukee a few weeks ago was a dandy.

What's the status with Stainbrook?

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

We have a legitimate shot at the BET championship.

We play X in the first round....who we've beaten already.

Georgetown plays Creighton.  Georgetown can beat Creighton.

Next round, we play Georgetown, who we've beat twice this year.

Then we are one game away from the big dance.

Ners, Willie, and Haywards, I know all this sunshine and koolaid is killing you.   ;D

Gotta focus on the bright side....especially after yesterday.

Put the fat lady back in the closet....for now.

Stainbrook has a strained MCL.  He is iffy, at best, for the game.

However, the way this season has gone, I wouldn't be surprised to see him start and have his best game as a Musketeer.

He'll probably can 13 3-pointers

Do you have some sort of disorder mentally?

First off you are just penciling gtown in. Second off I root for us every game I just am not a blind idiot like you. I start positive threads. If we lose I voice a displeasure . You are a robot completely unable to even try to find flaws in a clearly flawed team.

Pathetic.

Wow - RC83 tries to bring a little positivity to the Board and this is your response?

Relax Hayward. Please take a moment to reread the rules about personal attacks and try adhering to them moving forward.

If MU plays hard and with the effort they did on Saturday, they'll be in the game at the end. Then it comes down to late-game execution.

With the way we play 3 point defense, I'll go with the over

brandx

Can definitely beat X if we play well - don't see any way we beat Creighton cuz I haven't figured out if we don't defend the three or can't defend the three - but it doesn't matter why.

mileskishnish72

Ah, crap - PLEASE don't let it come down to late-game execution!

Look at it this way. Late game execution got us in the last two games and into overtime four times in those games.  But yes, put the ball in the right hands.

The best part about this is that Real Chili anticipated this over-the-top reaction, and you played right into his hands. My god did you play into his hands.

I won't be heartbroken if MU loses, as it will probably keep Xavier out of Dayton. I'd rather have the league cement a bid than have MU win and get slaughtered by Creighton again.

Wow. Just wow.

tower912

No fear.   MU has come close so many times, all of the lessons come together and the team morphs into a well-oiled machine for these games.    Everybody contributes, the seniors play like their careers are on the line, Juan defends, Burton attacks, STjr turns zones into his own personal beeyotch, MU's superior depth wears down teams on days two and three....... no worries, mahn.

I'm not convinced Creighton won't be eliminated by the time MU plays. Nothing I'd take to the bank by any means, but I think there is a reasonable possibility Georgetown beats em.

As long as MU is playing, I'll be rooting for them. I just won't be sad if they lose, since it will ultimately help Xavier get in.

Point taken.

chapman

Seven of our eight BET eliminations have come against a team we beat in the regular season, with one being a sweet of a doubleheader and one a split.  The trend will continue unless it's Creighton, Villanova, or St. John's that knocks us off.  To exaggerate the trend, I could see us winning, Georgetown winning, then getting whipped by Georgetown.

NavinRJohnson

Stainbrook is out for the game. Not even sure if that's a good thing. Without looking it up, my recollection is that MU kind of abused the crap out of that guy. Should provide a rebound edge if nothing else.
