I'll say Hill with a season under his belt. I'm not a recruiting junkie, but it seems like these two are very similar players. 6'5 around 180-190 SGs. Obviously it can't hurt to have more highly touted players, but with JJJ, Duane and Cohen as sophomores how many 6'5 guard/wings can play? Sounds like Hill is an underrated recruit that could be in the top 25 with a better summer.

GGGG

Matthews.  Plays in a much more competitive high school environment and starred for a top level AAU team.

I don't know.   Nobody does.   But the presence of JJJ, Hill, Cohen, Duane keeps me from getting too despondent about young Mr. Matthews' choice.

I'm optimistic about Hill but Matthews is a consensus top 12 prospect.

Well, he was a top 25 prospect until this past summer. Apparently he was forced to play PG. Plus he'll be a sophomore.

Different players. Matthews has a very high ceiling.

Wes is better.  He plays in the league.

Just making sure you know we are talking about Charles Matthews...not Wes

bilsu

Matthews was recruited by Kentucky and as far as I know they had no interest in Hill.
