I assume that you are the comedian of the group?

He tries...generally not very effectively...

Agreed and I'll make an addition. He might have attempted a power play. "Hey other coaches looking at me, offer me before this weekend or I'll commit to this crappy Rhode Island team"

Don't fault the Rhode Island fan for taking offense to his team being called crappy....not sure you'd appreciate someone calling MU crappy...and there are about 55 programs ahead of us this year that could say the same.

bc57 came here and posted with good intention...no need to be a dick TAMU.
"I'm not sure Cadougan would fix the problems on this team. I'm not even convinced he would be better for this team than DeWil is."

I came here to share information about a recruit we were both trying to land. This one poster craps on my school, craps on my fanbase and craps on me.....not cool, not cool at all.

Don't sweat it, bud. He's frustrated because Garrett will likely take away minutes from his all-time favorite MU player, Derrick Wilson. He was simply taking that frustration out on you.

Actually I think I'm the resident optimist. But Ners thinks I am comedic because I don't want our backup PG starting over our current one.

Sorry bc57, I was bit of a dick. One of those "not being careful with your words on the internet" type things. I have no beef with URI's program and wish you luck in the future. Thanks for the information

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

bc57

Hey, no problem. It doesn't look like he's coming to either of our schools now anyway.

Nice gesture TAMU...and I can appreciate your optimism...something I've generally been about MU hoops other than this season due to PG issue.

And if you think posters were making a serious crap on URI, read other threads to see we throw a lot more crap on each other!   ;D

Reportedly, Buzz was going to offer Garrett after seeing him play. But given that ND Prep's game yesterday was postponed due to bad weather, perhaps that's what prompted the kid to push back his decision. The game was rescheduled for today, but who knows what Buzz already has on his docket.

Great information, thanks.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Do not like it, if offers, somebody is leaving.  Curious, are any of the juniors have the ability to graduate so they do not lose a year sitting out?

Tower, I agree that one oversigning is not a problem, but two.  That to me is a stretch unless you know for sure one has told you they are leaving, or maybe another is a frosh with questionable grades is another.

$50K to help MU, brother, out, I doubt it.  I would tell Todd to go to Europe to play for pay if I was OJ

MuMark

MU is not oversigned.....Harris is not signed.

Maybe Garrett will walk on with a promise of getting an available scholarship. He wants to play for MU, because he is from Milwaukee.

in-state tuition, a'ina?

Buzz is just waiting for the adoption paperwork to go through.

River rat

If he goes to IU, will Crean be a round to see him play as a Senior?

I would also guess that if he were eventually going to decide to come to MU, that Buzz would ask that he holds off saying anything until the season is over.  As it stands, someone that we expect to be here isn't going to be...another verbal only makes that situation more sticky.

If Derrick, JD and Duane all return, with NN waiting in the wings, it is hard to see where his minutes would come from.   Hard to argue with that tweet.
Do I remember someone saying that, while Duane played point in HS, the he may be suited to SG in college?

Duane's a combo, is he not?

If he can hit shots consistently, IMO there will be plenty of playing time for him next year.

bc57

Buzz is watching him today.
