So a bid to the tournament seems all but lost, what do u look for from the team the rest of the year, and how can this season still have somewhat of a positive ending? Also, is this just a bad year or is this the beginning of a few rebuilding years yet to come. Not trying to stir the pot, would just like some honest answers.

We can lose three more times before the tournament is lost (-winning the BET). So until then, we carry on as fans

A bid is never lost until the conference tournament is over.  But as a fan you have to be able to just sit back some years and try to enjoy watching the team play (even when it doesn't turn out well).  We have a lot of players that are developing, Mayo, D. Wilson, Burton, Dawson... etc.  Watching those players as they grow is sometimes a great way to enjoy any game (sometimes also very frustrating).

Next year is a rebuilding year. We are losing about 40 points per game and any inside game. Fischer will not be eligible until 2nd half of season.
Starting lineup:
PG De. Wilson because Buzzo will never wake up.
2g Mayo
PF Burton
SF Anderson
C Taylor

That is not a line up that inspires confidence or will score many points.

Didn't people say last year, wait untill next year. I put no stock or care about next year. Were on this year!

For all I care Mayo can ride off into the sunset.  He was dead to me when he was suspended for the 4th time against UW.  He is too old to chalk it up to immaturity.  He doesn't get it now, and won't next season either.
As far as I'm concerned he's a cancer, and needs to go.

A little harsh.

He's just an inconsistent player.  When he is on, he can score from deep, off the dribble, in the lane, etc.  When he can't hit the outside shot, he doesn't have the first step to take it to the hole.

You are talking about Todd Mayo the player.  Yes talented, also wildly inconsistent with terrible shot selection and body language.  The reason he needs to go is because of what he does off the court.  He repeatedly lets down his teammates and coaches and can't be depended on.  Time to let the freshmen take his minutes.

Eh...  He's been in a "good space" according to Buzz.  He knows better than you or I do.

This is all very simple ... pay attention everyone who wants "bigs" ... "if you don't have guards, you don't have sh*t", Abe Lemmons.

The Warriors don't have guards, and as a result, no matter how much Coach Williams sticks with the same guards, the Warriors "don't have sh*t."

I agree.  As it has been written many times it is painful to watch teams sag 8-12 off D. Wilson while Marquette is on offense.  The lack of  a credible scoring threat from Marquette's guards means Marquette is playing 3/4 on 5 while on offense.  The offense is painful to watch.

Yeah we don't have Guards: Mayo, Thomas, the Wilsons, Dawson, JJJ, Anderson (perimeter)--all recruited by the Zen Master. Where does the buck stop?
