I think he said one of the best.  He's slipped, but the man has reffed some big games.

Tim Higgins called him the best ref that ever lived....one man's opinion.

16 Final Fours, and 7 national title games is nothing to sneeze at.  That didn't happen on accident.



The issue is not that he used to be a good ref, or that he had a great resume. It's that he suck now. And considering that the only big east official that rivaled Burr's incompetence was Tim higgens, his opinion means very little. Burr is too old for the schedule that college officials keep.

I really like what Wilson is doing in this game.  Style wise he is playing a lot like Junior last year.  Being aggressive advancing the ball.  On offense he is catching the ball ready to attack the rim, almost to the point of making the cut before he even gets the ball.  I like this.
