Can't wait to have him here.  His point guard looked pretty good too.

Lighthouse 84

I like it!  This kid has a nice jumper from close and is not a stiff at all.  First time I've seen any video on him and am pleasantly surprised with his agility.
HILLTOP SENIOR SURVEY from 1984 Yearbook:
Favorite Drinking Establishment:

1. The Avalanche.              7. Major Goolsby's.
2. The Gym.                      8. Park Avenue.
3. The Ardmore.                 9. Mugrack.
4. O'Donohues.                 10. Lighthouse.
5. O'Pagets.
6. Hagerty's.

MU82

I hope his HS coach continues to encourage him to work on and take those 5-10 foot jumpers and hook shots. He will need those in college, where every shot isn't a dunk.

Thanks for sharing the new vid!  Here's a couple others of Satch for those who haven't seen.

Dawson Rental

He looks dominant, but, of course, turnovers, misses and fouls are all edited out.  The best cuts of what he can do, do show a lot for the coaching staff to work with.  I'm liking him coming on board, I'm just not expecting much from him as a frosh.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Not sure how much time passed between these 2 videos and the videos from the original post is, but he already looks to be a much better athlete than he was in these 2 videos.  Jumps higher, much more explosive and quicker to get off the ground, and just seems to play with more confidence.

Tums Festival

Hopefully Derrick Wilson will watch this so he can see how to pass the ball to a post player.

Noticed you in the background at the Luke Fischer presser. I really prefer it when you have a speaking role rather than when you are merely just a face in the crowd. Who do we need to talk to about fixing that?

This guy's got a good frame... under Todd's weight program, he's gonna fit in nicely down low.  Chris was much much skinnier when he signed with MU although he more than made up for it in his six years.

Assuming that Satchel and Luke both stick around, MU is not hurting for bigs.

I miss the days of MU big men rebounding the ball and dunking it in the paint.

When is the last time Gardner got an offensive rebound and dunked the putback?

I think the photographer acted like they were taking a pic of Fischer at the presser, but were mainly wanting a pic of Hunt's look in that bomber.

Indeed. Lots of style going on there. That cameraman might be a Jedi knight.

looks like he has a mature body already, like burton.  according to paint touches-was supposed to visit during ohio state  game-thank God he missed that stink bomb.  between that and his visit from williams, we still got him.  that says a lot about MU and buzz.  everything i've read and seen of him/discipline and work ethic have the makings of a real diamond in the rough.  hope we can keep him for four years-get a degree BIG FELLA.  very surprised he's only a 3-star??

And just imagine how buff Chris is gonna be three years from now when he's in his ninth year here!

He was only a two star. His stock is rising. I don't think he's an Embiid but he could end up being a high three or low four star
