I think they said it caused wars of ignores to pump up the totals.

I think it would be nice if randomly one or twice a year there was a "Top Ten Ignores" list however.  I think it would be very telling.

Willie, our prayers for big men are finally answered with Luke and Satch!!!
Luke was highly regarded, Satch not so much--but he is 7'--hope he develops.

Yeah actually it was.  You think he should have gotten more time?

As a junior at Eastern Illinois this season, Reggie is averaging 28.4 MPG, 12.1 PPG, 2.3 RPG, with an A/TO of 3.1/2.6   FWIW

No, but Heisenberg does trying to point out that as an example of Buzz playing frosh. I would say it is another example of poor judgment by Buzzo, i.e. Erik Williams, Reggie Smith, Crowder coming off bench, Louisville meltdown, Roseboro, Mbao, Derrick being a game changer, etc., etc., etc. Just thought I would give you some examples, because you would surely ask for them.

I cannot believe we have stuck this long with this loser coach of ours. Terrible judge of talent. Terrible game coach. Terrible human being. Embarrassment to the university and, well, to mankind in general.

If only non-alums with zero stake in Marquette could have more influence in the hiring and firing process, we could dump this lame-o coach and hire somebody with a prayer of getting us to a couple Sweet 16s, maybe even an Elite 8.

Sweet 16, sweet 16, final 8, Consecutive top 20 recruiting classes, Big East champions. Come back wins against Davidson, Butler, West Virginia, etc, etc.  Just thought I would give you some examples.

Do you know how ridiculous you come across or is that your goal.

Willie's just tryin to be the PRN of Buzz.  Only PRN knew early on that I4 was both a complete douche (cue Chicos) and a crappy coach.  Buzz seems like a good coach to all but willie.

ChitownSpaceForRent

He cant really complain about not getting bigs anymore so he has to find something to talk about.

If only Larry had had a little more time, MU could be rid of this millstone holding it back.

lets try to push it to twenty

Let me give you a piece of advice.  Take it or leave it.

I have been involved in various internet discussion boards for over 20 years now dating back to the usenet days of rec.sport.basketball.college.  I can say this with conviction.  Very few people mind someone who speaks their mind or has a differing opinion than the norm, if they present that opinion in a reasonable manner with some facts to back it up.

But people tire of trolls.  People who say something outlandish for the sake of getting a reaction.  They aren't respected.  They aren't listened to.  They are eventually ignored.

So you can do one of two things.  Continue to think it's awesome that people are ignoring you as some sort of badge of honor, but watch yourself become just a background noise that no one pays attention to.  Or you can actually back up your points with a solid discussion.

I would prefer the latter because the more substantive discussion about any topic the better.  But it's up to you.

If he practices well will he be available to play right away?
I believe he can practice with the team now. So he should be pretty familar with the team on December 14th. However, there usually is some rust to shake off by not having played in a regular game.

In the grand tradition of Mike Kinsella, Terry Sanders and Krunti Hester, Luke will wear #40.

MU82, with his huge hate woody for anybody that is a non-alum, because after all, the world rotates around just him. Your hate woody is becoming more exposed each day, or is it just narcissism? I will let that up to the alums.

Considering that historically the UW game has been the Saturday before finals or the last week of classes this game will happen prior to December 14th, which is the day after the fall term ends.

Looking at the schedule history, prior to the 2004-2005 season, we typically played them later in the month, as late as 12/23. Maybe we should return to those days and make them our second-to-last game before conference play starts.
