For anyone who wants to continue to ridicule Buzz's paint touches philosophy, I'd recommend you go back and watch this game any time you are tempted to do so. This game was won/lost at the FT line. Xavier got the ball into the lane and lived at the FT line. MU didn't, and was content to live behind the 3-pt line. Made enough to keep it close, but never really had a chance to win.

Derrick and Juan are?

Right what are they doing... Juan has 0 points in 3 BE games...

I watched Semaj Christion, Cullen Neal, the Point guard from Creighton and Thames from ASU Rain Threes over Wilson down the stretch of big games like they Warm Up shots... or shooting balled up paper bags in your trash can at home...

While we are at it.  Tonight we shot over 40% from 3 and would have been over 45% if it wasn't for forced contested 3's at the end of the game.  We had 21 assists.  That was with basically completely abandoning the paint touch rule.

So by abandoning the rule we shot 10 percentage points better from the perimeter.

We were on the road.  We were not going to get any calls no matter what.  By abandoning the paint touch rule our offense was the most fluid it may have been all year...
