And the winner of the most boring post in scoop history goes too...

TallTitan34

It's an honor to win this award. First and foremost I'd like to thank God who makes all things possible. I'd also like to thank my wife MrsTitan34 for allowing to spend as much time as I do on Scoop.  I'd especially like to thank Chris Columbo for making this all possible by starting the thread and finding America. And finally thanks to my college roommates PTM and robmufan. Started from the bottom now we're here!

Your history is all wrong

"I think I see the Italian guy, Lief. He's about 500 years behind us."

"Hey Chris, the guys want to get some curry and Kingfishers then find the nearest whorehouse. We've been haze gray and underway a long time if you know what I mean..."

"These white guys want to spend the night but only have $24. Don't they realize this is Midtown Manhattan? I think they're gonna be a problem."

I think he meant finding America and not then losing track of it.

Oh, they've found it again.  It's just that real estate is a bit higher than it was 700 years ago.

He will play exactly as many minutes as Buzz deems he's earned in practice this week.

Yeah, we need him diving on the floor and beating Jake Thomas in wind sprints during practice. Hopefully then he'll get the chance to swing the ball on the perimeter and make no impact on the game like Jakey.

I'm still scratchin' my bald head about his PT the last two games.

JJJ played 14 mins vs. Creighton, including many important minutes when we were trying to get back into the game. Even though we lost decisively, Buzz didn't concede until the closing minute; he played Jamil and others almost to the bitter end.

Then JJJ didn't play a single minute against DePaul.

I'm not one of the posters who thinks JJJ and Deonte automatically should get major minutes. Buzz sees them everyday, I don't. But it's hard to believe there weren't a few stretches where JJJ's energy and offensive ability couldn't have been used against DePaul, who was giving us fits.

So to answer the question, my over/under is Who The Hell Knows?

There is no reason to scratch your head over JJJ playing time.  His playing time is dependent on how well Mayo plays as he is Mayo's backup.  So, the better Mayo plays, the more playing time Mayo receives and the less time JJJ gets.  Against Depaul, Mayo had a very good game and was on the court a lot.  Against Creighton, Mayo had a horrible game so JJJ received some quality time on the floor.

Accurate.  This is why I'm confused when people think JJJ is going to start getting Jake's minutes.  Jake's minutes are going to hold pretty steady unless JJJ and Mayo BOTH prove they deserve more time than they are getting.

I'm hoping Jake is late to the game and JJJ takes all of his minutes and scores 20, then relegates Jake to the bench for the rest of the season!
