I thought someone said in another thread that Fischer's mother got a job in Wis Rapids, but they live in Baraboo now?  That's an ugly commute if true.

Here's a guy who works his ass off, plays hard and stays out of trouble.  (Except for that Brewers ticket incident as a freshman.)  Just because he hasn't met your expectations doesn't mean he isn't a valuable member of the team.

I was under the impression they lived in Wisconsin Rapids.  But it looks as though his tweets were all sent from Baraboo.  So I have no idea.

In seriousness, maybe they can schedule a few more games over Christmas break--be nice to have a few cupcakes he can play in, and maybe a marquee matchup between Xmas and New Years, prior to BE schedule.

Eyeballing it, it seems that Baraboo is just about halfway between Germantown and Pittsville.  Maybe, both Fischers have a long commute now.  Baraboo is also much closer to Madison than Milwaukee which makes the whole homesickness story a little more interesting.

I'd drive the extra hour to get home for a couple years if it meant not losing an extra year of eligibility.  That said, I'm perplexed by the choice of Baraboo, but I guess there aren't a whole lot of "half-way" options between G-Town and Pittsville... Baraboo is actually a great community, I suppose I'd just want to be a bit closer to the interstate if both of us were commuting an hour or more.

How do we know they actually live there?  Some of his tweets just had a Baraboo tag on them, and some earlier ones had Wisconsin Rapids.  I'm not familiar with how Twitter tags those locations, but I don't know if it's enough to jump to conclusion that his parents live in Baraboo now.

His dad grew up in Baraboo.  I bet that he wasn't tweeting from home because I'm about 98% certain his parents now live in Rapids.
