Jamil and Ox aren't the senior leaders they should be. It was better when we actually had players willing to be leaders, aka Vander, Jae, DJO, Jimmy in past years, and guys like Jamil and Ox were complimentary role players and not leaders. Jamil just doesn't have a good motor and neither does Ox. They seem like they don't care much. The other players on the team are incomplete players that hurt us in different ways. Guys like Derrick, Juan and Jake are solid defensively, but have little offensive skills. The younger guys like Deonte and Jajuan are talented offensively, but are poor defenders.

As much as this board would bury Junior last year, we really, really miss him too. Like, way more than I thought we would and I already thought wed miss him.

We'll JJJ is apparently blocked by Thomas this year. Are you sure that Dylan Flood might not block him next year?! I heard he's a pretty good practice player   What a joke these rotations have turned out to be this year.

I agree with your assessment, however the seniors are SUCKING.

I think Buzz is subscribing to the "It's still early in the season" nonsense and looks willing to stand on this Titanic.

- MU's scoring and defensive woes have not been solved since tOSU
- We're almost at the halfway mark in the season and have ZERO non-conf or high quality wins (unless GW counts)
- Buzz is gambling with playing safe and experienced upper classmen hoping they'll keep the game close but jeopardizing potential scoring

Garrett is a nice Freshman PG for Depaul.  Amazing quickness and was rated like 99 in Rivals, while Duane Wilson was like 50.  Maybe next year.

And Juan to the bench after two minutes.

Jake has a better 3 pt% than JJJ.

However, JJJ has played 140 minutes LESS than Jake and has a higher FG%, FT%, 20 points less, 7 less assists, 2 more steals, and 1 more BLK.

JJJ needs to see more playing time because one of the keys to Buzz's offense (or whatever it is) is transition points.
JJJ offers that witht his length, speed, and ability to take it to the rim.

If JJJ does transfer, this one is on Buzz.

If JJJ has not thought of transferring yet, I would think he would after a DNP against DePaul where mu's off sucked.
