Welcome back, Stone. Where you been? Everything OK?

Thanks for the concern Lenny.  Everything's great.  Been following the boys.   I guess after my first season coaching basketball (13-5) I'm a little more patient with coaching/errors.  It will dissipate as the season goes on I'm sure.

Glad to hear it. 13-5 is solid, but it wouldn't stop the world class second guessers from Scoop!

lol, It's like emails from parents on steroids! (weird phrasing)  Regarding coaching, now I know why Buzz yells all game, thought I was going to develop vocal nodules.   It definitely helps keep guys focused, esp. defense, in my experience.

Having grown up in Asia I will say that the vast majority of the world's people squat rather than sit. Living in Hong Kong in the 90's there was a massive influx of Mainland Chinese looking to get out of the PRC through the British Colony prior to the handover in '97. The truest evidence of the Mainland Chinese presence in Her Majesty's Realm were the dirty footprints on toilet seats.

Footprints?  I thought that was the result of not hitting the target...collateral damage from carpet bombing.

I'll bet bidets are a popular item in Asia, hey?

Really needed 14-4 to get off that bubble, per Lunardi.

That's why I was throwing chairs and popcorn on the court the last game.

Rather than throwing that popcorn about you would be well advised to be digesting that fiber for its cleansing benefits.

Combat toilets is no joking matter. Good men have been left behind.

It amazes me that an 8-5 team record produces a thread about pizza and toilets.

Reminds me of the "Thunder Box"  in Evelyn Waugh's  Men at Arms which they try to keep  Brigadeer commander Ritchie-Hook from using.  Pretty funny war satire

Leave no man behind, unless he just blew up his crapper and is cover in little pieces of dook.

First I read a thread about how the scoop is dying, and now I read this thread.
You can say one thing for the scoopers, when the chips are on the table, they respond. Nice work gang.

Seems like a natural response to me.

By the way, what's in everybody's beer fridge these days?  I picked up some Dulle Teve and Oerbier from Discount Liquor on Oklahoma.  Good stuff.

When someone first referred to "the Mecca" in Milwaukee, I thought they were talking about this place.

Palmero frozen pizzas are the worst.

Completely horrible.  I truly wanted to like them because I was supporting a Milwaukee company, but there's a reason the grocer's freezer down here eventually remained stocked full of them after the (seemingly) bi-monthly 5/$10 sale.  To this day, the occasional late-night or weekend afternoon cardboard pizza is still a weakness of mine, but even I can't stomach Palermo's anymore.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

This thread could just be renamed "my college experience" as it talks about crappy frozen pizza, discount liquor on Oklahoma, and dropping sh!ts

Check out Milwaukee Pizza Company. They have greatly increased in availability during the last year and can now be found at most of the locally owned grocery stores (Outpost, Groppi's, etc). You might also be able to find them at Metro Market - no luck so far on Pick and Save. I know a bar owner who sells their pizza and he vouches that they are good guys to work with.

Really good stuff and more interesting flavors than the usual frozen brands.
