Very easily at this pace  ;D

KO probably having a heart attack, he hasn't seen a Marquette team break 50.  I kid, I kid (no one needs to post the stats)

Will K. O. let loose with an f bomb?

With the coaches mic'd up and KO on the commentary it's amazing we haven't had one yet.

KO, as a coach, will never be "miked up".  Never.   ;D
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

Knight Commission

He was complimentary of Cords even though I am sure he is still upset that he did not get that parking spot he was always complaining about.

KO shared a nice young Buzz story around 14min mark of first half for those who dvr'ed.  I enjoyed him doing our game.

Thought KO was very solid today. Hope we have more this season. Plus there is always a chance he says or does something off the wall. Welcome home, KO.

I heard half of it. Was KO coaching at MU when Buzz came to the camp?  If so that's kinda cool.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Was coaching daughter's BBall tourney today--what was the story?

PuertoRicanNightmare

For those in attendance, I'm curious if O'Neill was introduced or otherwise shown on the scoreboard and, if so, what kind of reaction it garnered.

Buzz set KO letters every day asking to work his camp.  Finally KO relented.  Buzz came and coached, slept in locker room.  Been friends ever since.  He didn't say at what school this was.

Two KO moments stood out.

One was the aforementioned story about Buzz.

The other was him ripping Jake pretty hard (and deservedly so) for a weak entry pass.

Third moment was his appreciation of what Cords did for him.

I like when he contrasted the IUPUI's coach's 20 years in one place with his own 9 jobs in 20 years.

Not that I saw.
Have some patience, FFS.

Neat seeing KO and McIlvaine in the same house for MU.

Did K.O. slap his hands the whole time screaming at him not to bring the ball down low?   ;)

Two things stood out listening to KO:

1. The guy is brutally honest which is refreshing for color guys who often sound like shills for both teams

2. You can tell he still has very positive feelings about Marquette, both the program and the university.  And given #1 above, this was no b.s..

jsglow

Didn't hear KO behind the mike for yesterday's game but I have enjoyed his color in the games I've seen.  I agree that he has a very soft spot for his years in MKE.  KO absolutely deserves credit as THE GUY who started our 20 year rebuilding project following the 80s.

KO was great. Loved his thoughts about Cords - said he was an AD who always had his back even when he said and did stupid things - which happened frequently, as he was young and stupid then. An AD who supports his coach through thick and thin - how Chicos must despise Bill Cords.

4everwarriors

Lenny Man, that's it in a nutshell. Tough when the AD didn't do the hirin' of the head coach and has his own agenda, doe.

Perfectly stated.
