Derrick swished the three after the foul!  Lol!

Yep. JWil is back.

Isn't that what we said after that game out in Cali? Then he wasn't much of a factor the next 2-3 games? Jamil is way too inconsistent.

madtownwarrior

fine, they are likely top 20, that makes MU about top 50

Where would you place them?  Are they not a top 10? Top 15? Top 20?

We have plenty of perimeter players that can shoot if we set them up properly.

The historical shooting percentages of our current players disagrees with you.

The list of 15-19 teams that are better would be great to see. Thanks in advance.

Gotta be kidding me...ruled a 3 on the floor.  You couldn't tell whether he was on the line or not. Well, doesn't matter anyway.

He's bound to make one or two every year lol

Funny officiating.  They call it a 3 and reverse it even with the reply clearly showing wood floor visible between the white line and his foot.

"Likely" top 20... Lol

Otule's Glass Eye

That was clearly a three. Comical.

It was actually a split call.  The ref closest to the call signaled 2, the ref behind the play called it a 3.

Great, so they'll be dancing in March!  Count madtownwarrior as still on the bandwagon!  Can't even get his negativity right.

The announcer said they overturned the call, therefore officially it was counted as a 3.  Regardless, the replays, which they watched, clearly showed it to be a 3.

MattyWarrior

Why didn't we try some 3's earlier? This team is so passive.

Otule's Glass Eye

Wait! Aren't the refs going to review that Gardner three?

What replay did they show that was clear?  They only had that one angle I saw and it was hard to tell one way or the other.  Crappy camera angle (one) all day.  Maybe the lines froze.

The replay they repeatedly showed in slow motion going back and forth that clearly showed wood between the white line and his foot.

NavinRJohnson

Yeah, he was 3 in. Behind the line. Thankfully didn't make any difference.

Watch the replay.  The ref about 5 feet away was emphatic it was a 2, the outside ref about 15 feet away said 3.  The scorekeeper went with the outside ref, as the scorekeeper was only a few feet away from the outside ref.  So yes, from that standpoint they overturned it but this isn't the NFL, two refs called something different.  The angle to me was tough to tell, though the action of the closer ref who was looking right at his feet was emphatic WHILE he was shooting.  He may have been wrong, but he was absolutely convinced.

Badgers were the better team. A number of factors hurt us today, but the bottom line is we let Dekker get free too often. This was a game where we had to punch them in the mouth and instead we just played the role of punching bag. Really disappointed in Jake. Never seemed to get free or even look for his shot. I'd be much happier with him shooting and missing than not shooting at all. I want to strangle a kitten right now.

Otule's Glass Eye

Disappointed we didn't today but I saw encouraging signs. I am now convinced Juan should get way more minutes. He's a quiet player but rarely makes mistakes and does a lot of little things.

Thanks...I couldn't see it from that angle...to me it was clear it was unclear after the step back. Usually they do the zoom in to be sure one way or the other.  But I am with Chicos, the ref right here was in great position, and the outside ref was Jim Burr.  'Nuff said.

WarriorFan

MU out-shot (2pointers and 3pointers) and out rebounded the #8 team in the nation in an away game.
The difference?  4 more turnovers and 9 more fouls.

Take away either one, and we win.

Take away Jim Burr and we win.

Of course there's +1 point for Juan's 3 as well.

I still have a lot of faith in this team.

Wish this team would play with the same intesity they did in the last couple of minutes.
